Indian and Chinese Troops in Scuffle on Disputed Border

NEW DELHI—Indian and Chinese stability forces scuffled alongside the disputed border in between the two Asian giants, injuring soldiers on each sides, Indian officers said Sunday.

Scores of soldiers from each sides engaged in heated exchanges of words and phrases and blows soon after encountering just about every other at Naku La go in the northeastern Indian condition of Sikkim, Indian stability officers said. Neither China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs nor the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi responded right away to emailed requests for comment sent Sunday night….
