The Civil Aviation Ministry has provided permission to the college and Marut Dronetech Personal Restricted (which provides drones) to use drones for analysis and standardisation of plant security solutions and building protocols for the analysis of important pests and illnesses. Founded by IIT-Guwahati alumni, Marut Dronetech has designed drone solutions for eradication of mosquitoes, sustainable agriculture and afforestation.
“We have mapped and invited about one hundred ten tech start-ups performing in several elements of agriculture to evaluate their programs.
