Pineapple challenge to market unsold harvest

The Affiliation of Agricultural Officers and the Kerala Pineapple Farmers Affiliation have joined fingers to start a “pineapple challenge” to tackle the challenge of significant quantities of unsold harvest in the industry.

It is pointed out that the current limits have impacted transportation of the fruit and scarcity of motorists also influenced the movement within the Condition. Supplied the scenario, the officers and farmers have resolved to promote A grade pineapple based mostly on a least order of one hundred kg at ₹20 for every kg.

They appealed to traders, voluntary bodies, resident associations and many others. to put orders and the items would be delivered at the doorstep. The payments can be produced on delivery. This would be a helping hand for farmers as some of them are hesitant to have out harvesting thanks to the deficiency of industry access for the fruit.
