Ryanair has introduced its first “acquire just one, get just one totally free” sale in a bid to improve flagging passenger quantities.
Customers who e-book a flight ahead of midnight on Thursday for vacation up to December fourteen on 1,600 routes will get a second ticket at no added expense.
The move follows the airline’s conclusion to further minimize functions due to coronavirus vacation limits.
Its capacity in Oct will be 40pc of 2019 ranges, as opposed with the 50pc it earlier introduced.
Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary explained demand from customers for long term bookings was terrible.
“Into November and December our ahead bookings are running at close to 10pc – that’s about a quarter of where they would commonly be at this time of the 12 months,” he told Sky News.
“We can not rule out career losses but in Ryanair we’re definitely desperately operating with our persons to protect against them.”
