Vakrangee freezes at 5% upper circuit as Q4 profit grows 4-fold YoY

Shares of Vakrangee were being locked in the 5 per cent higher circuit band at Rs 29.7 on the BSE on Monday right after its net financial gain jumped 383 per cent calendar year-on-calendar year (YoY) to Rs 31.sixteen crore in the March quarter of FY20, as against Rs six.forty five crore-financial gain in Q4FY19. In comparison, the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex was down 395 points, or 1 per cent, at 37,212 stage at 10:fifty five am.

The specialty retail’s revenue from functions stood at Rs 207.39 crore in Q4FY20, as against Rs a hundred and one.forty six crore for the corresponding quarter last calendar year, registering a progress of 104.32 per cent. In addition to, its EBITDA (earnings ahead of curiosity, tax, depreciation, and amortisation) clocked a sixty nine.87 per cent progress to Rs 31.63 crore compared to Rs eighteen.62 crore for the corresponding quarter last calendar year.
